The Laser Workshop

A working practice with a 100-watt CO2 laser: personalized notebooks, mandala lattices, a chess set built from stacked letterforms. Arabic calligraphy became a carving material. The gallery frames are staged; the objects, and the balcony they were photographed on, are real.
